If I want to use a steam jet pump for vacuum creation in order to perform reduced-pressure distillation, what should I keep in mind? How do I choose the model?
When starting up, be careful to turn on the steam injection gradually； Moreover, the steam for the next stage of the pump can be turned on only after that stage has reached the required vacuum level. During use, make sure that the water temperature does not exceed the designated value. Adjust the amount of steam supplied according to the level of vacuum; it is not true that the more steam used, the better. It is advisable to install an automatic control valve. Also, check for any leaks in the system
Thank you for the help from znbzhanggz. I wonder if a steam jet pump can adjust the steam inlet pressure; can it also adjust the steam outlet pressure?
How is your steam outlet pressure regulated? ? The steam should all be cooled down to water for it to be normal; then what’s the purpose of a steam outlet pressure?
