What is the best way to deal with the small amounts of oil and water present in compressed air?

After gas is compressed, cooling and separation are usually carried out, and these are standard procedures. What the original poster is referring to is whether oil and water remain after separation; if so, then the efficiency of the separation process needs to be taken into consideration. The separator should discharge oil and water once per hour, and it needs to be cleaned regularly or have its filter screens replaced. If the volume of gas is large, then the processing capacity of the separator must be considered
It can be treated with a coalescer.
Using a coalescer is certainly good, but it requires investment; generally, it’s better to start by improving the separation efficiency of the air compressor system! If nothing else works, consider switching to an oil-free lubrication compressor
I’m afraid all these things you mentioned will also require investment. In my opinion, it’s still better to take a holistic approach and consider various factors as a whole.
Generally, the outlet of air compressors is cooled and dried; with sufficient capacity, the cooling and drying units should be able to remove moisture and oil effectively.
