Our factory wants to install a 300,000 t/a pyrite-based acid production plant. The issue of raw materials is a major problem. You should secure the raw materials first before proceeding with the design. Otherwise, even if the design is completed, it may not be possible to obtain the required raw materials, or those materials may not meet the design specifications. Additionally, your company should establish some basic requirements regarding process technology before developing the system design.

1. What is the required conversion rate? It is related to the local total emissions and environmental protection requirements. Different requirements require different conversion process flows and catalysts ； 2. As the saying goes, you can only do as much as you have money for. The device is required to be advanced, of medium technical level, and cost-effective. For dry absorption, cast iron pipes can be used, as well as those with stainless steel anode protection, and there are also those made from imported Zecro material. Instrument control can be fully automated, partially automatic, or involve conventional instruments that are operated manually. 3. If the raw material is ultra-fine sulfur concentrate, ordinary sulfur concentrate, roasted mixed ore, or lump ore, the design of the bubbling furnace changes significantly, with the roasting area potentially differing by a factor of two. These are the general requirements, but actual operations may need to take into account the specific conditions of each plant. Flowcharts and lists of equipment – I think all manufacturers have these, but they may not be useful in practice, as it depends on various conditions in the location of each factory. Factors such as altitude (which affects oxygen concentration), humidity, air pressure, and annual average temperature play a role; variations in these factors lead to significant differences in the designed processes, and therefore the process diagrams and equipment also differ.
