1. This is a profession. At AspenTech, you can only do process simulation. 2. Master's degree. 3. Process simulation software engineer. 4. HYSYS and Aspen Plus. Used ProII. 5. It's hard to say the level. I seem to be just a chemical engineer. I have used simulation software for more than three years, plus five years of field experience (actually only two years). 6. What is the software used for? Steady state is only used to develop process packages, dynamic control analysis, and OTS project development for one year. I don’t know what kind of engineer I am. The definition varies from place to place, but I am definitely an engineer.
