The standards for dimethyl mixed cycles (DMC) include specifications for hexamethyldisiloxane (MM); I think this is because MM is a sealer that affects the production of downstream products, but I’m not sure. Does anyone know anything about this? Also, for downstream products such as silicone rubber and silicone oil, there are requirements for monofunctional and trifunctional substances – is that because trifunctional substances enable cross-linking? Does anyone know what the specific requirements are?
