The technology for producing oxalic acid through carbon monoxide coupling at the Fujian Institute of Research on the Structure of Matter, Chinese Academy of Sciences, has been around for 20 years now, but its industrial application status is unknown. I hope those who know can provide some information. Currently, it is only known that there is a pilot plant with a capacity of 100 tons per year; has this technology been scaled up to larger scales?
