When looking at the PID of the coking coke tower, I saw that there are 2 lines of quenching oil, one is diesel, the temperature taking point is at the start-up line, and the injection point is the tower； The other line is heavy wax oil, the temperature taking point is the oil transfer line, and the injection point is the oil transfer line at the top of the tower. May I ask what the difference is in the purpose and injection time of the two channels of quenching oil? Thank you.
Why didn't anyone reply? Is the question simple? Wax oil quenching oil is used to control the temperature of oil and gas in the oil transfer line and reduce coking.
Both diesel and heavy wax oil are not good as quenching oil. Diesel is not economical to use as quenching oil. Heavy wax oil cannot be completely vaporized as quenching oil, and the oil and gas lines are prone to coking.
Diesel oil does not enter the coke tower as quenching oil
Our device uses wax oil as the quenching oil. Only the top of the tower is injected, and the oil and gas lines are decoked after a period of time.
