The feasibility study report for the recent technical renovation of our unit has been completed, and preliminary design work is about to begin. Does anyone have templates for preliminary design or similar documents? Thank you all! ! ! :lol :lol :lol
The preliminary design is usually entrusted to professional design firms, and the templates may not be suitable. The expert didn’t specify which particular area of projects is in question. Strictly speaking, both the feasibility study report and the preliminary design must be prepared by qualified design consulting firms; otherwise, they cannot pass the review by the relevant authorities. The preliminary design formats vary among different units. Different design firms follow different industry standards and preliminary design regulations; for example, Sinopec and CNPC each have their own rules. Different units use different table formats and font sizes.
Only if the contents of the two new projects are essentially identical can the preliminary design be considered useful for reference! The preliminary design of any project is done once only and has no value for reuse; at most, its technical aspects can serve as a reference. Public utility projects can certainly not be exactly identical!

Chemical engineering projects vary greatly, so there are no ready-made templates that can be used; one can only refer to the format and requirements. What’s important is the substantive content – the process design, technical parameters, equipment selection, overall layout, and estimated investment costs, among other things
