Since it’s a state-owned enterprise, there isn’t much to do on a daily basis. I’m not sure what exactly one can learn or do in a chemical plant. The future is truly uncertain! ! The salary is too low, and no better job can be found; I want to stay for a few years to gain skills, get promoted to engineer, and then move to a better company. But if this continues day after day, one won’t be able to acquire any skills; how can one then have the qualifications to change jobs? ? So I take advantage of my work experience to learn as much as possible, especially regarding the types of workplaces you might end up in in the future: chemical plants (pumps, compressors, fans, blowers, etc.), and machinery factories (equipment installation, heat exchangers, towers, reactor design, etc.)

Since you are in the Equipment Management Department, you should first learn the basic knowledge of equipment management, such as equipment management systems, equipment registration systems, and spare parts management. Do you know how many motorized and non-motorized devices there are in your factory, where they are located, and what their functions are? If you don’t know, learn it quickly. Secondly, spend more time on the job site, work closely with the maintenance technicians, learn how to repair various types of equipment, and strengthen your skills in design and drafting through practice. Finally, one must also be able to operate the equipment. You can change jobs when you feel you’re ready; there’s no need to wait until you get an engineer’s certificate (that takes 5 or 6 years – can you afford to wait that long?) ), you can also get certified as an engineer at your new employer.
