Applications of bearing shells

Axial bearings come in thick-walled and thin-walled types, but in terms of usage, I would like to ask whether motors also use thin-walled bearings?
Bearing shells have high load-carrying capacity, but require high levels of lubrication. It is rare to use shaft bearings on motors. Thick-walled tiles have a large amount of scraping allowance, while thin-walled tiles do not. I guess motors use thick-walled tiles more often. :loveliness: :P
Generally, high-power motors definitely require bearing shells, and thick-walled shells are used in all cases.
1. Ordinary thin-walled tiles are installed on fixed tile seats and are not suitable for use on self-centering tile seats. 2. Generally, the shaft bushing bodies of high-power motors can be automatically adjusted for alignment, with a certain amount of clearance present. Where there is a gap, vibration occurs; thin-walled tiles cannot withstand vibration, so thick-walled tiles are used. (i.e., sliding bearing)
It depends on what material the tile is made of! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
The 900kw motor relies on bearings; I don’t think the motor uses bearing shells, as those have very low capacity to withstand axial forces
Reciprocating compressors with a power of over 2000 kilowatts use thick-walled bearing shells for their motors, ensuring a relatively long service life
