The acid circulating in the power wave system contains acid sludge from the flue gas, and the amount of this acid sludge is considerable. Our factory uses CN filters for treating this sludge, but the bottom stream, which contains 10% acid sludge, cannot be transported properly through pipes; it is also difficult to process once it reaches other sections. Please share your ideas – what methods have proven effective?
Transporting dilute acid containing 10% acid sludge is not a problem; for example, rubber-lined pumps or hose pumps can be used, and plastic pipes (PE) will suffice for the pipelines; As for the final treatment of acidic sludge, it can be processed using a press or a vacuum ceramic filter to achieve solid-liquid separation, with both methods yielding good results.

Personally, I feel that using a sequence of \"power wave + empty tower\" for purification is a bit repetitive and also somewhat reversed, as both of these devices use acid (or water) sprayed to remove dust and generate large amounts of water vapor to cool down (converting sensible heat into latent heat). Since the empty tower is hollow inside, it does not get clogged by flue gas containing large amounts of mineral dust or large particles; therefore, it is usually placed as the first device in the purification process. Moreover, both the power wave system and the air tower are devices that require a large amount of circulating water; in particular, the power wave system needs an even larger volume of circulating water. I personally think this represents some redundancy. I hope the experts here can correct me if I’m wrong.
