Explosion-proof reflux ratio controllers are used in production; I’m not sure which company manufactures them. A friend recommended a patented product from Tianjin – does anyone who has used it know how effective it is?
Please check, OP, to see if there’s a typo? Controllers are now mostly software-based and run on computers, so there is no issue with explosion prevention.
Is controlling the reflux ratio to prevent explosions? What does that mean then? Learn*: lol
I have used a reflux ratio controller with a very important patent in the past. The reflux ratio is controlled by switching the flow direction to regulate the timing of flow into the reflux pipe and the production pipe. When using it, pay attention to the processing volume; a low volume makes it suitable for research purposes.
What the poster is looking for is a reflux ratio controller for large-scale production, and it needs to be explosion-proof (likely to be used in the distillation of Class A substances). Those used in industrial production are essentially enlarged versions of laboratory devices (with some minor modifications); they work fairly well, but the control of the reflux ratio isn’t very precise. If high precision in reflux ratio control is required, then this type of controller cannot be used!
Well, and definitely not for category A relay types
Reflux ratio controller? Isn’t it a control system that regulates the opening degree of the flow control valve?
The reflux ratio controller controls the proportion of reflux to production by regulating the time ratio between production and reflux. We have been using the 1 ton/hour and 2 ton/hour reflux ratio controllers from Tianjin Xuanhuai Technology Co., Ltd

The reflux ratio controller or solenoid valve used in the Tianjin University Petrochemical Center to adjust the reflux ratio is suitable for small-scale production; it’s not very appropriate for larger scales. I have used many similar products, as well as reflux heads and other such devices
