Please share your opinions on the maintenance of plate evaporators!
This is a big issue. What type of working fluid is used in the plate evaporator of the original poster’s unit? Is it brazed or sealed with gaskets? Generally, the maintenance of plate exchangers involves removing scale, and cleaning agents are sufficient for that purpose
What kind of plate exchangers? The ones we commonly use are made up of individual plates; during maintenance, the gaskets between the plates are replaced, the plates themselves are inspected, and any damaged ones are replaced. It’s a relatively simple process, though it can be tedious as tightening the connections isn’t easy.
