This post was last edited by sunjl1981 on 2013-1-6 at 23:40. May I ask the experts: how can automatic analysis/control of the alkali level in a single saltwater solution be achieved? # , , &
The control of alkali content generally involves the ratio method and pH meter measurement, but maintaining pH meters is too troublesome these days!
Currently, it is monitored using a pH meter, while free chlorine is measured using an ORP meter.
At present, our analysis of the excess alkali amount still relies on experimental analysis. The excess alkali amount was determined through experiments, and then the addition amount was controlled.
Automatic control must be difficult, right? Our company has all the necessary pH meters, control valves, and alkali flow meters, but it’s very difficult to operate in automatic mode. 1. pH meters often crystallize or become inaccurate due to other issues ; 2. The quality of domestic low-flow control valves is poor ; 3. The alkali content in the incoming brackish water is unstable.
Our factory relies on laboratory analysis for control, with tests being conducted on the alkali content and pH value. Of course, online detection using a pH meter is also possible.
Online pH measurement is not yet known to be in widespread use in China. In 2007, Beijing Helong Optimization Control came to our factory to discuss the automatic control of brine acidity, focusing on three aspects: 1. Rough control of water distribution ; 2. Control the brine concentration at 7.1–7.2 ; 3. After the electrolytic preheater, control it between 3 and 5. However, data shows that it is already in widespread use abroad. I think it’s not possible to make effective use of this final stage – that is, to develop a set of stable operating procedures through coordinated efforts between the manufacturer and the equipment supplier.
Dear leaders,:lol We need to find a solution to the issue of how to monitor and control sodium carbonate levels online.!victory:
It’s generally not automatically controlled; otherwise, the number of employees working with saline solutions would have to be reduced again: lol. pH meters often break down, and it’s also difficult to control low flow rates.
