There are many local refineries nowadays, and the challenge of energy conservation is quite severe. Everyone uses different methods to calculate the energy consumption factor; please discuss this matter
Which refinery are you from? I work on energy conservation in local refineries as well. The biggest issue in calculating the energy consumption factor for local refineries is the mismatch in their processing equipment: some have strong crude distillation capabilities, while others have strong secondary processing capabilities – this is the main difference from large petrochemical complexes. Following the instructions in the \"Refining Engineer’s Handbook,\" I developed a small program using EXCEL, and the results were fairly good. The calculated specific energy consumption was generally between 11 and 13, which meets the standards set by CNPC and Sinopec; occasionally it was slightly higher. However, local refineries face their own challenges, such as poor quality of crude oil and high losses, all of which are objective factors. Feel free to communicate. qq: 476830125

The main problem with local refineries is the lack of appropriate processing facilities. Sinopec’s calculations are based on atmospheric and vacuum distillation processes, but local refineries may not have such facilities, or they may have them but do not use them, as local refineries operate with profitability as their primary goal; I’m sorry; I work at Shandong Huahe Petrochemical Company, and we often keep in touch for work matters
