Recently, Electrical and Instrumentation was separated from the Industrial Control Electrical segment, giving rise to separate areas for electrical technology discussions and industrial control automation discussions. This was originally a welcome development, but it seems that the electrical technology discussion area does not have enough popularity since its creation. To enhance the interactive atmosphere in the electrical AC forum and boost enthusiasm, it is suggested that higher scores be assigned to the topic posts and replies posted in this area, in order to attract more technical professionals to participate. Agreed, it’s just my personal opinion. I hope everyone can share their opinions so that a final decision can be made.
I’m not from an electrical engineering background, but I sometimes come to look up information as well, so that I can provide more accurate details when putting forward proposals. Support the original poster’s proposal. For the comprehensive development of the forum, some sections should be turned into “special zone” types; of course, there should be special zone policies, and it is also appropriate to increase the scoring emphasis. There are similar examples in other forums; I hope our forum can draw on them.

Originally, for chemical engineering forums, instrumentation is closely linked to process technology, but electricity is different. Thus, the slump in the electrical sector is evident. Don’t emphasize popularity; if you are professional, people will naturally support you.
