As we all know, the coal used for gasification in old-fashioned fixed-bed gas furnaces is anthracite. There are few anthracite coal reserves in our country. Where do these anthracite coals generally come from? How much higher is the price compared to bituminous coal?
Northwest and Central Plains are also known as Southern Coal and Northern Coal. Guangxi, Guizhou, Yunnan and other places are commonly known as "Southern Coal", and Shanxi, Hebei, Henan and other places are commonly known as "Northern Coal". "Northern Coal" is of better quality than "Southern Coal" (high fixed carbon, high calorific value, high ash melting point and lower sulfur content). Anthracite coal is almost twice as expensive as bituminous coal.
What will be the trend of coal prices in 2008? ? ? ? :(
It will go up. The chances of it not going up are too small.
I chatted with people from Heping Coal Group in December, and they said that good coal gangue can now be purchased for 80 yuan/ton!
