Supplementary information on single-alcohol projects already built or under construction across the country. In recent years, due to the rapid rise in global crude oil prices and the development of downstream products derived from methanol, demand for methanol in China has been increasing continuously. The Fertilizer Association is unable to keep up with the updates regarding this area; therefore, a survey is being conducted to gather data on domestic single-alcohol projects, so that everyone can gain a better understanding and facilitate further communication. We encourage active participation from all interested parties. The reward percentage is really high! ! ! The format is as follows: (Company) (Annual methanol production) (or planned completion date) (such as coal water slurry gasification, partial shift, low-temperature methanol washing, isobaric synthesis, three-column distillation, etc.) (such as GE gasification, Lurgi low-temperature methanol washing and methanol synthesis, etc.) (such as Nanhua Institute C307, Southwest Research Institute XNC98, Topsoe MK-101/121, ICI or Southern Chemical, etc.) (Engineering company and chemical construction contractor selected)
1. Yankuang Lunan Fertilizer Plant: 15 tons per year, located in Tengzhou, Shandong. At Nanhua Institute, room C307 – approximately 100,000 tons, requiring about 50 tons of catalyst. In addition, a unit with a capacity of 10 tons per batch will go into operation soon; another unit with a capacity of 60 tons per year is under construction, with completion expected by the end of 2008, and operation to begin in 2010. 2. Yankuang Guotai Chemical Co., Ltd.: 200,000 tons per year of methanol, 300,000 tons per year of acetic acid. Tengzhou, Shandong still has new projects; specific details will be updated as they become available. 3. Yankuang Guohong Chemical Co., Ltd.: 500,000 tons of methanol per year; located in Zoucheng, Shandong Province. Construction began in October 2005, and the plant came online on December 28, 2007. The project utilizes American technology; it uses high-sulfur coal as raw material and employs processes such as pressurized gasification of coal slurry and coal-based combined production. American technology is used in this project; further information is needed. : Further investigation is needed.
