The selection of materials should be in accordance with the requirements of HG/T20581, 7.8.1. Carbon steel and low alloy steel have good corrosion resistance to low-concentration sodium hydroxide solutions at room temperature. When the concentration is higher than 30% and the temperature is higher than 80 degrees, the corrosion of carbon steel and low alloy steel increases rapidly. The higher the temperature, the more serious the corrosion. Parts that bear stress are prone to dangerous stress corrosion cracking - alkali embrittlement.
