Sometimes it’s necessary to be practical; for those who don’t have much money, it’s worth downloading and learning from good materials. But when something seems good on the surface yet actually has poor quality content, isn’t that a form of deception? This post was last edited by visavis on 2009-3-30 16:28]
The original poster is talking about the real situation. For the things you mentioned, at least one knows whether they are good or bad. Sometimes, one spends a lot of money in hopes of downloading something, only to find that during the extraction process an error message appears stating that “XXX.PART.0x” is missing; the file cannot be extracted. Deleting it is painful, while leaving it intact is useless – it becomes useless junk. One has already spent time rating it and money on it, which is really frustrating! I’m afraid of wronging innocent people; I’ve suspected there might be a problem with my system, but some files can still be decompressed even if they are quite large. I don’t know why this happens. I hope experienced experts can help resolve it: [This post was last edited by wsts00100 on 2008-1-23 06:24]
I hope those who have tried it will leave a comment to inform those who come after
Sometimes it’s hard to tell what’s going on, because some things are new to those who download them; it’s impossible to judge something that one doesn’t know about, or at least impossible to judge it accurately. This likely adds another burden to administrators – they need to determine whether the uploaded content is usable, through some kind of verification process, so that people can use it with confidence. Otherwise, it would be troublesome if something is available in the forum but cannot be used
I agree with what was said above; I also suggest adding a check for already downloaded items, as there are some things that have been downloaded before but were forgotten and need to be downloaded again... :loveliness: But that’s one’s own fault for having a poor memory! :lol
