Let’s discuss DSC’s anti-interference technologies

DCS anti-interference is a very large and complex topic. To put it simply, here are the aspects we need to pay attention to in daily use: When selecting a DCS, it’s best to choose a system with strong interference resistance; for I/O cards, it’s ideal to have point-to-point isolation as well as separate power supplies. The control cabinet should have two types of grounding: protective grounding and system grounding, with proper grounding connections. Shielded cables should be used for control cables; the shield layer at the field end should not be connected, while it should be connected to the system grounding bar inside the control cabinet. When laying control cables, avoid placing them too close to power cables or areas with strong electric fields. If control cables and power cables are in the same tray, they must be separated by a metal partition. Some on-site primary instruments are highly susceptible to interference, and must be installed in accordance with specifications. If the above aspects are properly addressed in a factory, there generally won’t be any major problems.
