Let’s discuss what catalysts are used in the devices that each of you works with Foreign or domestic? What manufacturing process is it used in? Finally, the usage results are evaluated to determine the performance differences between foreign and domestic catalysts
Our facility has three hydrogenation units, each using different catalysts. The catalyst used in the hydrogenation and refining unit is DN-3100 from Shell American Catalyst Standards Company, while the catalyst for the refining process is DN-140. The catalyst used in the lubricating oil hydrogenation unit is RN-22 from Fushun, and the catalyst used in the gasoline production unit is HPL-1 from Changchun Hui Gong

The catalyst used in the lubricating oil hydrogenation unit is RN-22 from Fushun, and the catalyst used in the gasoline production unit is HPL-1 from Changchun Hui Gong. The catalysts from Shell U.S. Catalyst Standards used in my unit are very convenient to use; they are already sulfided. After being loaded, they only need to be dried, and during the heating process the protective wax coating on the outer surface of the catalyst melts automatically, allowing the catalyst to release sulfur. These catalysts have high activity, and they can work with a wide range of feed oils. It has a long service life. Domestically produced catalysts have lower activity compared to imported ones, the range of options available is narrower, and their operational lifespan is also shorter than that of imported catalysts.
RN-22 seems to belong to the Institute of Geology, right?
Hehe, the equipment used in the workplaces on the 2nd floor is indeed quite complex. I also believe that, overall, domestic catalysts are still behind foreign catalysts in terms of technology
Our facility has two sets of catalytic units; due to the poor quality of the crude oil used as a catalyst feedstock, CDC catalysts produced by Changling Catalyst Factory and RSA series catalyst additives manufactured by Shandong Huaqing Powder are employed.
