In the United States it is F304, in Japan it is SUS304; in China it corresponds to 0Cr18Ni9. But since pressure vessels require traceability, it’s better to issue a substitute document to avoid trouble for oneself. Generally, substitution is possible
China’s 0Cr18Ni9 is essentially equivalent to American 304. It can be used for general purposes where there are no requirements regarding corrosion resistance. However, in cases of high corrosion or exposure to acids and alkalis, 304 is a better choice.
Get a substitute form; don’t cause trouble for yourself – things are too uncertain right now.
There’s no problem with the material itself; it can be used normally. However, from a procedural standpoint, the project needs to be more rigorous; there should be official substitute forms, as this is in line with standard procedures and also ensures traceability.

It can be said that the chemical composition of 304 is similar to and equivalent to that of 0Cr18Ni9 in China. However, 304 also has certain mechanical property requirements, which means that the standards for 304 are stricter than those for 0Cr18Ni9; 304 is the standard for rolled materials such as sheets in ASTM.
Looking at the information, the components differ slightly, but in reality their performance is basically the same; it’s just that they have different names in different countries, and this doesn’t matter in actual use
