The duration of major repairs is generally quite long. Can the water remaining in the deaerator be used during the phase of increasing temperature and pressure?
It is best not to use it. After long-term parking, the water quality in the deaerator deteriorates, which has an adverse effect on the boiler when it is used again. Moreover, a small amount of water in the tank isn’t a big deal; it’s best to drain it. After major repairs to our boiler, we always require that the water be drained completely and replaced before using the boiler again
