Hydrogen should be vented into a sealed space; how does it come into contact with air then?
Hydrogen has too low a density, and it is not possible to prevent air from entering the pipeline after venting; therefore, a flame arrester should be installed 1 meter at the end of the pipeline where venting takes place.

The Soviet standard was within 8 meters, while the American standard was within 16 meters. Design institutes are usually located at around 10 meters.
