Petrochemical companies establish positions for safety technology management, but aside from safety inspections and issuing fire permits, the daily tasks involved in these positions have little technical complexity. The following points are proposed initially; I welcome any criticism or suggestions. 1. Responsible for revising and improving the rules, standards, and procedures for safety management ; Participate in reviewing production management rules and regulations, technical specifications, and operating procedures ; 2. Organize research on safety production technologies, formulate plans for safety-related scientific research, and promote the introduction and application of new technologies and research outcomes ; 3. Responsible for maintaining and improving the database of laws, regulations, technical standards (specifications) related to safe production; organizing compliance assessments and promoting the adoption of new standards and specifications; supervising and guiding the correction of non-compliance issues ; 4. Organize safety assessments of existing production facilities, as well as safety pre-evaluations and safety inspections for new construction, renovation, and expansion projects; supervise and guide the implementation of relevant risk control measures ; 5. Responsible for the design review regarding the \"three simultaneities\" principle in terms of safety for new, renovated, and expanded projects, ensuring compliance with safety technical standards and regulations, and overseeing the implementation of the review recommendations ; 6. Organize the evaluation of major hazard remediation projects, and handle related tasks such as the approval process for initiating such projects, funding allocation, and progress monitoring ; 7. Organize and supervise grassroots units in carrying out hazard identification and risk assessment, and guide and review risk control measures and management plans ; 8. Responsible for accident investigation, handling, and statistical analysis ; 9. Provide technical support for safe production, supervision and inspection, as well as training and education.
