Hello, everyone: I am currently working on a project. Today I reviewed the construction drawings, and it states that three coats of waterproof coating should be applied to the outer protective layer of the equipment. As for the anti-corrosion treatment, it says that two coats of Guangming Dan should be applied to the insulated equipment. Should these two coats of Guangming Dan be applied on top of the waterproof coating? Additionally, I noticed in the pipe section table that for all equipment and pipes that require insulation, there is no indication that anti-corrosion treatment is necessary.
The two coats of Guangming Dan serve as a primer; after applying the primer, insulation is applied. On top of this insulation layer, three coats of waterproof coating are applied, meaning that after insulating the equipment, three more layers of waterproof coating are applied to its outer surface.

The two coats of Mingguang Dan for the insulation equipment and pipes should be applied after they have been secured with spikes, right?
Perhaps the insulation cover is not made of metal. If it is metal, it would be better to use sealing material at the joints. For high-temperature pipes such as those used for steam, applying a primer is pointless.
The main purpose of applying waterproof paint outside the insulation layer is to prevent water from entering the magnesium silicate fabric on rainy days (for outdoor equipment and pipes) or in other situations where there is water present, thereby reducing the insulation effect or even preventing any insulation at all.
