The discharge pressure is the sum of the set pressure and the excess pressure, with the excess pressure expressed as a percentage of the set pressure, generally not exceeding 10%. The discharge pressure each time the safety valve opens is not necessarily the same, but under normal conditions it remains within a certain range!
