Calculation of the liquid seal height

May I ask how to calculate the pressure at the top of a distillation tower and the height of the liquid seal? Can the formula P=density*gh be used here? The function of the liquid seal is to prevent non-condensable gases from reaching the top of the tower.
When the top of the tower is drained using atmospheric legs, there is no need to consider a liquid seal... (Of course, the installation location of the total condenser needs to be taken into account.) A liquid seal is simply a matter of pressure difference...
