Brothers, I’ve been studying explosion-proof areas lately, and while looking at relevant information I encountered the issue of ignition temperature. I understand that T1 corresponds to temperatures above 450 degrees, while T2 corresponds to temperatures above 300 degrees but below 450 degrees. Hydrogen falls under category T1. Someone told me that the T2 rating is higher than that of T1, and I don’t understand why hydrogen has the lowest rating Could that expert please explain to me what ignition temperature actually is? Thank you! ! Also, when we improve the explosion-proof conditions in our processes, which specifications should we refer to and what are the key points to keep in mind? Ignition temperature > 450 is classified as T1; those between 350 and 450 are classified as T2. Clearly, T2 can be reached more easily, so it is more dangerous. Level T2 is higher. Hydrogen falls within the T1 range, so its grade will be the lowest.
