I think the main reason is that the scope of the layout is too large, such as the polymer and material technology exchange area. This scope is too broad. Almost no one is familiar with all the content in it, so they have questions to discuss, or browse to learn. * It is difficult to find content that truly fits your research scope. In fact, polymer materials include many aspects such as raw material manufacturing, modification, molding processing, additives and equipment. If they can be further classified in the layout, it will be easier for relevant technical personnel to browse and discuss them together, so that exchanges on technical issues can be more active. Moreover, I also think that the author's suggestions can be successfully implemented: Let the proposer or interested friends be the moderators of these forums and let them organize and plan them. Don't stop doing it just because of the trouble. In that case, the forum will always be just a place for watering down and having fun, and its meaning and influence will be limited. Besides, the current moderators of the polymer forum are really pitiful, so how about forum management?
