1. Purpose: This valve is suitable for intercepting flow on pipelines carrying slurry, sewage, dust and other media. 2. Performance specifications Model Nominal diameter DN (mm) Nominal pressure PN (MPa) Test pressure (MPa) Working temperature Applicable medium Z73H/F-16P 50~200 1.6 Strength seal ≤300℃ Pulp, sewage, coal slurry, ash, slag water mixture 2.4 1.8 3. Structural characteristics: 1. The raised gate sealing surface can scrape off the adhesive on the sealing surface and automatically remove debris. 2. Stainless steel gate prevents seal leakage caused by corrosion. 3. The overall stainless steel material can prevent corrosion damage. 4. Short structural length can save raw materials and installation space, and also effectively support pipeline strength. 5. The scientific sealing stuffing box design makes the upper seal safe, effective and durable. 6. The triangular bracket saves raw materials and ensures the required mechanical properties. 7. The guide block on the valve body allows the gate to move correctly. The extrusion block ensures effective sealing of the gate. 8. The design of valve body reinforcement ribs improves the strength of the valve body. 9. The stainless steel valve stem is durable, and the double-ended thread can open and close more quickly. 10. The basic structure of this valve is shown in Figure 1. 4. Working principle of the manual valve: Turn the handwheel by hand to make the valve stem rise and fall, thereby driving the gate plate to move up and down to open and close the valve. Rotate clockwise, the gate descends and the valve closes. Rotate counterclockwise, the gate rises and the valve opens. 5. Storage, maintenance, installation and use 5.1 The valve should be stored in a dry and ventilated room, and both ends of the valve channel should be blocked. 5.2 Valves stored for a long time should be inspected regularly to remove dirt. Special attention should be paid to the cleaning of the sealing surface to prevent damage to the sealing surface. 5.3 Before installation, you should carefully check whether the valve mark complies with the usage requirements. 5.4 Before installation, check the inner cavity and sealing surface of the valve. If there is dirt, wipe it clean with a cleaning cloth. -1- 6. Possible faults, causes and elimination methods are shown in Table 1 Table 1 Possible faults, causes and elimination methods Possible faults Causes of faults Elimination methods Packing leakage 1. The packing gland is not pressed tightly 2. The packing fails due to long use or improper storage 1. Tighten the nuts evenly and compress the packing 2. Replace the packing Leakage between sealing surfaces 1. Dirt adheres to the sealing surface 2. The sealing surface is damaged 1. Clean the dirt 2. Reprocess and repair or replace the connection between the valve body and the valve cover Leakage everywhere 1. Uneven tightening of the connecting bolts 2. Damage to the flange sealing surface 1. Tighten evenly 2. Re-tighten the hand wheel and the rotation is not flexible or the gate cannot open and close 1. The packing is pressed too tightly 2. The valve stem nut is damaged 3. The thread of the valve stem nut is severely worn or broken 4. The valve stem is bent 1. Properly loosen the nut on the packing pressure plate 2. Disassemble and trim the threads and remove dirt 3. Replace the valve stem nut 4. Correct the valve stem Figure 1 Slurry gate valve-2-
