The Ningdong Energy and Chemical Base, which is mainly constructed by Shenhua Ningmei Group, received another good news. The 210,000-ton dimethyl ether production unit was successfully commissioned and commissioned at one time. By the end of the year, 296 tons of dimethyl ether products had been produced. The 210,000-ton dimethyl ether production unit is a supporting project of the Shenhua Ningxia Coal Group's annual 250,000-ton methanol project. It adopts Japan's Toyo dimethyl ether synthesis technology and is the largest dimethyl ether production unit in the world so far. Construction started on September 10, 2006. Since entering the construction period, the project management department and all participating units have worked together and worked closely to overcome various difficulties. The intermediate handover work was completed in early December last year, and the single-unit test run and safety confirmation before operation were completed step by step. On December 21st, dimethyl ether started to heat up and reduce when it hit the coal. On the 22nd, the system was fed materials, and qualified dimethyl ether products were produced in the early morning of the 24th. After testing, all the products produced meet the standards of high-quality products.
There is no need to be complacent in such a world. On March 18, 2006, Lutianhua's 100,000-ton dimethyl ether production unit was put into operation, claiming to be the largest in the world. On May 16, 2007, Hebei Zhongjie's single-series dimethyl ether plant with an annual output of 100,000 tons was successfully commissioned in one go and is also known as the largest in the country. On October 18, 2007, the 200,000-ton dimethyl ether plant in Tianhe, Inner Mongolia was put into operation, claiming to be the largest in the world. Currently, new 1-million-ton and 3-million-ton DME projects are under construction. With new process technologies, larger scales are possible. The key is to drive the device "safely, stably, long, full, and optimally" to truly reach the designed scale. Therefore, we still need to work down-to-earth.
Nowadays, the market prices of methanol and dimethyl ether are quite good, so all over the country are vying for it, and the scale is getting bigger and bigger. These so-called largest products in the world will become obsolete in a few days, which is quite funny to say.
250,000 tons of methanol supporting dimethyl ether can be calculated as follows: 250,000 tons of methanol ÷ 1.42 tons of methanol/ton of dimethyl ether = 176,000 tons of dimethyl ether. In other words, the supporting capacity of dimethyl ether is less than 180,000 tons/year. Considering the abundant capacity, it is the nominal capacity of 150,000 tons/year. 210,000 tons is a numbers game. Now the largest dimethyl ether device in China (Xinao Zhangjiagang) does have a production capacity of 200,000 tons/year. The daily output is nearly 700 tons of DME, and the actual production capacity has reached 220,000-250,000 tons/year.
The scale of dimethyl ether alludes to the scale of supporting coal-to-methanol production. As far as dimethyl ether itself is concerned, the threshold is low. Now it is not a question of how big it is and how to be first. The key depends on where the target market is.* * Policy orientation, and the most difficult transportation issues.
I agree with the first sentence on the second floor. However, I am sorry for my lack of knowledge. It seems that I have not heard of any 1 million or 3 million tons DME projects under construction. The largest one is the 800,000 tons project under construction in Iran, right? (It seems that the device has been installed, because the raw material methanol has not been started yet)? In China, it seems to be 400,000 tons, and we are currently designing it.
At present, domestic dimethyl ether production companies have large-scale equipment, but they are not single-set equipment. The equipment claimed to be hundreds of thousands of tons is not single-set. Some companies with 200,000 tons have two reactors. There are still problems in domestically trying to industrialize dimethyl ether on a larger scale.
In Yijinhuoluo Banner, Jiutai Energy's 1 million tons of dimethyl ether project has an investment of 2.7 billion yuan in the first phase. The project construction scale has an annual output of 1.5 million tons of methanol and 1 million tons of dimethyl ether. The first phase of the project is planned to be completed and put into operation in 2008. It is jointly invested and constructed by Sinopec Co., Ltd., China Coal Energy Group Company, Shenergy (Group) Co., Ltd., China Yintai Investment Co., Ltd. and Inner Mongolia Manshi Coal Group Co., Ltd., with a scale of: Coal mining is 20 million tons/year, methanol is 4.2 million tons/year, dimethyl ether is 3 million tons/year, and the total project investment is approximately 21 billion yuan. The project is expected to be completed and put into operation in 2010. Agree with the 5th floor’s opinion “…. As far as dimethyl ether itself is concerned, the threshold is low. Now it’s not a matter of how big you want to be and how to be number one. The key lies in where the target market is. * * Policy guidance, and the most difficult transportation issue." As far as I know, the 210,000-ton dimethyl ether plant on the first floor was stopped at the beginning of this year because of: There is no target market and transportation costs are too high.
The current dimethyl ether market depends on the methanol market, which is currently good, but when the methanol price rises to more than 3,500 yuan per ton, the situation will become dire.* * Something bad happened. 1.4 tons of methanol produces 1 ton of dimethyl ether. The price of dimethyl ether is more than 5,000 yuan per ton, and transportation is also a huge problem.
I agree with what the 5th floor said, the key depends on the market.
The production capacity of each factory is beyond reproach, but now there are a few companies that dare to produce at full capacity. The production cost and sales price of methyl ether determine its development trend. Now the inventory is full, and production is a loss. How many companies can afford it?
210,000 tons of dimethyl ether can be produced using domestic technology, but Japanese technology is used. Doesn’t the owner feel shameful? The catalyst for dehydrating methanol to produce dimethyl ether can be supplied domestically. The reactor for synthesizing dimethyl ether is even simpler. Which domestic design institute cannot design it? As for dimethyl ether distillation, that is the most common process. I feel shameful for such a small thing, but it worships the foreign and uses Japanese and Japanese technology! ! ! This post was last edited by 1681818 on 2008-3-23 17:14 ]
