About polypropylene piping

In the process manual, polypropylene pipes with a diameter of 65 and above are connected with neck flanges or loose flanges, and pipes with a diameter of 60 and below are connected with threads. In the relevant chapters of polypropylene valves, they are all flange connections. So what kind of connection method is used for pipes and valves below 60? ? ?
Polypropylene valves less than two inches and pipes are generally connected by socket welding and butt welding, with double oil rings on both ends of the valve.
