With the rapid development of coal chemical industry, the shift processes have also undergone numerous innovations. The main processes currently available on the market include medium-high-low, medium-low-low, and fully low-shift processes, among others. Among these, sulfur-resistant shift processes in the coal chemical sector are developing quite rapidly; imported variants include K811, while domestically, Qilu leads the way (with many small factories emerging around Qilu Institute). However, I am not very familiar with this market, so I would like to learn from everyone here about the domestic conversion process as well as the market for conversion catalysts. Please feel free to share your insights. The format is as follows: (1) Name of the unit; (2) The process to be followed; (3) Manufacturers, models, and quantities of various catalysts used; (4) The effectiveness of their use. The data for this building will be updated and summarized regularly based on everyone’s responses!
A certain methanol plant, with pre-conversion and main conversion processes, as well as a full low-temperature conversion process; design code QCS-02 from Qilu Institute. I forgot the loading amount; haha, it was me who was responsible for the loading. The performance was good – it exceeded the requirements for temperate water conditions – and it continues to perform well to this day
Hubei’s two top teams, B110: medium-low-low – excellent
In the urea plant, Process 1 uses K8-11, producing 34 tons; Process 2 uses QCS-01, yielding 42 tons; Process 3 uses QCS-4, resulting in 116 tons. The results are excellent!
Synthetic ammonia glycol, fully low-temperature variant, Hubei model? I’ve only used the 90-ton model for two years; the previous mid-string model with low voltage variation was used for 12 years.
Friends from Qilu Academy? Is the gasifier ahead used for water-coal slurry?
Shift catalysts are divided into high-shift catalysts (formerly known as medium-shift catalysts), low-shift catalysts, and sulfur-resistant shift catalysts. In different conversion processes, different catalysts are used as needed.
