For ammonia evaporation, a plate tower is not necessarily required; packing can also be used. We use packing, with the concentration at the bottom of the tower being below 0.1%.

There is another issue: the process provided to us by Hebei Zhengyuan involves preheating before both towers and cooling at the top of both towers. With tower heights of over 16 meters, it is necessary to use a framework; otherwise, the coolant from the top of the towers would not be able to flow back into the ammonia vaporization tower. We, on the other hand, do not want to use a framework for the ammonia vaporization process, as this would inevitably lead to increased costs.

Companies will make the best choices for themselves. Zhengyuan’s three own subsidiaries all use the vertical sieve plates produced by Hebei Zhengyuan, and as far as I know, they also use their own vertical sieve plates in several major projects they are working on currently. If these sieve plates were not as good as the CJRS jet-type ones developed by Tianjin Chuangju, they wouldn’t continue to use them – after all, no one wants to unnecessarily increase their costs
