I would like to ask everyone: what welding process can be used to ensure the quality of Class C and Class D welds in pressure vessels?
The key is to control the quality of Class D welds, which is closely related to the quality of the openings and the welding process. I have a set of tools for making cuts using gas cutting, which enables effective control over the dimensions of the openings for Class D welds!
It mainly relies on the type of structure used (i.e., the groove shape), other necessary welding techniques, as well as whether non-destructive testing is employed to ensure quality.
