The improvement in regeneration can encounter blockages
I am working with a fixed-bed semi-regenerative reformer. After the reforming feedstock is introduced, it is necessary to closely monitor the changes in the temperature of the reactor bed, the pressure, and the purity of hydrogen. The temperature at the furnace outlet should fluctuate by no more than ±2 degrees. When the pressure rises to 1.3 MPa, the pressure must be maintained stable; the exhaust gases are then sent to the flare. Once the temperature of the reactor bed returns to normal, the temperature is increased at a rate of 10–15 degrees per hour until it reaches 450 degrees. Once the bed temperature reaches 450 degrees and the pressure in V201 remains constant, the hydrogen from the reforming process is no longer sent to the flare, and instead it is fed into the pre-hydrogenation unit.
