How should the volume of grout used for foot bolts be determined in the pricing based on the installation list for mechanical equipment? The pricing standards for such installations provide specifications for the grout required for various types of foot bolts, but it’s not clear what volume of grout is needed for mechanical equipment of different weights. Does anyone know this? Please advise!
I later asked colleagues in the civil engineering field, and they believed that manual calculation should still be done first, after which the appropriate sub-items from the quota can be selected. This must also be a kind of answer; however, since bidding is carried out using an itemized quotation method right after the preliminary design stage, and the level of detail in the design isn’t sufficient, it seems that such quantities can only be estimated. This situation can be addressed by using supplementary quotas; it would be advisable to consult those familiar with civil engineering budgeting or construction work to find out approximately how much each cubic meter costs, and then create a supplementary quota based on that information. In general, the amount in such cases is not very large, so it won’t affect the overall budget estimate. :lol :handshake :handshake
