The phenomenon of porcelain falling off from enamel reaction kettles usually has two main causes. One is the quality of the enamel, and the other is that the operating conditions exceed the applicable range of the enamel reaction kettle. This is the adaptability of the equipment to temperature. Obviously, the thermal expansion coefficients of cast iron or steel and the enamel layer are different. When the temperature of the equipment changes sharply, the excessive stress generated will cause the phenomenon of porcelain explosion. Therefore, the temperature changes must be controlled during operation, especially to avoid rapid cooling of the reactor by cooling medium at high temperatures. For the repair of blasted porcelain, tantalum materials are usually used for repair, and the effect is better. This needs to be done by the reactor manufacturer, which can be done on site or at the manufacturer.
