Smart transmitters are being used more and more these days, but have standard instruments changed as well? It turns out that when calibrating pressure transmitters, a manual pressure pump and a standard pressure gauge are used ； Now switch to the Fluke 718 along with some compatible pressure modules. Today, smart transmitters have an accuracy of 0.2% or even higher; it is difficult to meet the calibration requirements using traditional standard instruments, which is why calibration instruments with higher precision are needed.
Since we are an instrumentation sales center, our calibration equipment is updated every year; we are currently using the Fluke 726. However, taking into account Fluke’s supply channels and after-sales service, the option with the best cost-performance ratio is likely Beamex’s MC2; it’s a shame that they don’t offer direct sales in China. I still want to say that Ametek does not offer very good services or distribution channels for temperature calibration equipment in China, but their products are of good quality. When choosing verification equipment, I also take into account its portability for use on site; of course, the brand and appearance are important as well.
