Problems with product extraction in distillation columns

This post was last edited by Black gold on 2011-11-28 at 16:35. The distillation column used in our company operates under negative pressure (–0.1 MPa), and the reflux volume at the top of the column remains around 2 tons. Why isn’t there any side-stream extraction? It is a full-reflux column.
What is the diameter of the tower? What is the porosity? There must be a leak; there is no liquid phase on the collection tray, so no material can be collected
It is very likely that since the material entering the product distillation column contains only a small amount of light components, these components are not removed from the top of the column; instead, they are concentrated at the top, and once they reach a certain concentration, they are discharged through intermittent venting! (I hope this is helpful to you)
