The machine pump is a heavy oil pump. It vibrates very badly after starting and the medium is transported.: Residual oil, inlet temperature: 98 degrees, the outlet pressure gauge indicates zero. I would like to ask you seniors what is the reason.
Analysis from the outlet pressure gauge indicating zero: 1. The pump outlet is blocked, maybe the valve is not open. 2. The pump inlet is blocked. Check the circulation of the equipment in the pipeline system along the way, such as filters. 3. For problems with the pump body, please consult the equipment manufacturer.
If the pressure gauge is not broken, it is suspected to be blocked. Otherwise, why would the outlet pressure be 0? You can use a vibration meter to measure the vibration of the connecting pipeline and the pump body before making a specific judgment.
Possible reasons; 1) Poor pump installation (including pump and motor not concentric, bearing clearance is too large, impeller skew, impeller and pump body friction) 2) Shaft bend 3) Debris in the impeller 4) Water or rust in the bearing 5) Bearing wear 6) Impeller corrosion, unbalanced rotor after wear 7) Loose anchor bolts 8) Surge phenomenon 10) Poor fixation of the external vibration source transmission pipeline 11) Air infiltration into the suction pipe 12) The liquid temperature is too high. Still not sure what kind of pump you have? Centrifugal pump, gear pump, screw pump or some other pump?
Determine the situation by taking time out, and analyze it based on the reasons for taking the time away. The medium may be airy!
It may be caused by the motor, the shaft displacement is large or the pump is overloaded.
According to normal analysis, the causes of cavitation are relatively large and can be considered from these aspects.
