As a beginner in mechanical design, how can one improve their professional skills quickly? Where should we start from that perspective? Please share your opinions! Thank you!!
For a mechanical designer who is just starting out, the most important thing to improve their design skills is to gain as much practical experience as possible! Observe more, analyze more, and study real examples of various mechanical mechanisms. Participating in the installation or maintenance of such mechanisms can be very helpful for improving design skills. What is written in books is static, whereas reality is full of changes.
A new designer should start by engaging in practice, learning about the true principles of structure through real-world applications. They need to learn to identify the strengths and weaknesses in others’ designs, and participating in discussions on this forum can also be very beneficial
Interact more with experienced people, spend more time on the job site, and study other people’s drawings
