Let’s talk about how much the salaries have increased in Sinopec’s system this year In parts of North China, it is 400 yuan per month on average.
CNPC is at the same level as well, but the executives’ salaries will increase a bit more, I guess
Salary increases vary depending on rank; those who have been working for just a few years might see an increase of only 400, while those with over a decade of experience can get an increase of 1000
Prices are rising even faster :( :'(
Weren’t they saying that the difference isn’t significant this time? It’s around 350 yuan per person. There is some noise surrounding this matter; other companies don’t advertise salary increases in the same way as Sinopec does – they just raise salaries quietly.
I don’t know; stop talking nonsense. This salary increase favors those who work shift work – team leaders and senior engineers get the highest increases, while engineers and those who work shift work get the same amount. As for managers, their positions don’t equate to higher ranks, so they basically end up with the lowest increases. Every time there’s a salary increase, it’s the people who work shift work who benefit the most. Managers don’t use their salary to buy cars, houses, or support mistresses – that needs to be clear.
Our middle-level managers receive 2,000 yuan each; the amount has been increased since July 2007. As for the workers who work shifts, we have only heard some rumors so far. It’s still the same figure of 300 to 400 yuan per person that Sinopec has long promoted, but I think that’s a bit suspicious! These days, the higher one’s position in government, the more greedy they become; the more money they have, the more greedy they get!
I’m envious; everything has gone up so much. I’m too embarrassed to say anything
? ? When has CNPC raised its employees’ salaries? How come I didn’t know? . I also worked at CNPC. . Is it an increase across the board, or only certain factories that see an increase?
Sinopec: The percentage increase in salaries is higher for lower-level employees and lower for those in higher positions. There are still more leaders in absolute terms. It’s around 300-400 on average. If it rises by more than 1,000, then the person in question is at least at the level of deputy director of a branch company, or a leader in the parent company. Even if there is a rise of over 300, after deducting various allowances such as those related to three types of benefits, an employee with 15 years of service and an intermediate professional title ends up with a monthly income of just a little over 2,000. It doesn’t bring much improvement to family life. Sinopec’s wage increases caused a lot of buzz but had little impact. The amplitude is still not enough.
These high salaries of state-owned monopolistic enterprises should go to companies such as China Mobile, China Telecom, China Unicom, China National Petroleum Corporation, China Post, the power sector, and banks; China Petrochemical definitely does not deserve any part of them. Sinopec is classified as a monopoly firm, but it fails to enjoy high wages. Always being used as a scapegoat for high salaries – it’s even more unjust than Dou E’s fate!

Our factory has three voltage levels: 420, 400, and 380
More or less, we had Sinopec shave it off our backs; it was tragic :(
In parts of South China, it is 300 yuan per month on average.
Sinopec doesn’t offer higher salaries than CNOOC’s; already at the start of one’s career, the salary is 7,000–8,000 yuan.
Sinopec in Henan sees an average increase of 300-400. At Sinopec, my salary never increased; it started rising as soon as I left there to work elsewhere, which was frustrating.
Once, a foreigner came to our company, and when we talked about salaries, he said, “I’ve never seen a Fortune 500 company with such low salaries.” It’s really pitiful; maybe it’s because of our low salaries that we’re included in the Fortune 500 list.
