Everyone, please help – filling a constant-pressure reactor with 6 kilograms of nitrogen, will that damage the gauge on the reactor?
The tank itself might be fine, but the sight glass will definitely break
Why does nitrogen need to be filled to 6 kilograms? Isn’t nitrogen generally used for displacement? If you have to charge, it’s recommended to replace the audition with a blind panel – your life is more important. If nitrogen flushing is used in the reaction, it is recommended to replace the reactor.
I agree with what was said above: it’s best to be cautious when conducting pressure (high-pressure) tests, especially with high-pressure gases. It’s also necessary to conduct a thorough inspection of the equipment, after all, it’s a device designed for normal pressure conditions :)
Oh, we were purging the pipelines, and unfortunately it was necessary to do it through the reaction vessel. It turned out that 5 kilograms of nitrogen wasn’t enough to damage the test sample! ! ! Thank you all
