On January 16, Huadian Coal Industry Group Co., Ltd. established a working group for a methanol project with an annual output of 3 million tons in Lingzhou Industrial Park, Lingwu City, which means that this coal and coal chemical project with an investment of more than 20 billion yuan has officially settled in Lingwu. Area A of the Lingzhou Comprehensive Industrial Park in the Ningdong Base covers an area of about 1,500 acres. The total area of the Lingzhou Comprehensive Industrial Park is 23.98 square kilometers. It mainly focuses on the development of petroleum, natural gas and chemical industries, focusing on the construction of projects such as petrochemicals, fertilizers, comprehensive utilization of resources, coal chemicals, deep processing of coal chemical product intermediates, and social service industries. At the end of 2006, Lingwu City * * Reached a preliminary cooperation intention with Huadian Coal Industry Group Co., Ltd. Subsequently, after multiple on-site inspections, assessments, and negotiations, the two parties signed a cooperation framework agreement in Beijing on January 13, 2008. The two parties have agreed to invest more than 20 billion yuan in Area A of Lingzhou Comprehensive Industrial Park in Ningdong Base to build a methanol project with an annual output of 3 million tons and deep processing supporting projects. At present, the infrastructure construction of Lingzhou Comprehensive Industrial Park has been completed, and the two parties have established a project working group and a coordination working group. The working group will optimize the construction and put into production in phases, and at the same time develop and construct other coal chemical projects such as polypropylene or polyvinyl chloride in a timely manner. After the coal and coal chemical projects are started, the advantages of coal resources in Ningdong Coalfield can be fully utilized to promote Lingwu City to enter the top 100 counties in China as soon as possible. The first big problem for the Ma Coal Chemical Industry Project is water resources. If this problem cannot be solved, people will be restricted by water in the future.
