To improve the effectiveness of the forum, it is recommended to remove users who have not logged in for over half a year. They may have lost their account.
Accounts are deleted if not logged in for half a year – that’s too harsh. Many members are very busy, especially those working on projects; it’s normal for them to be busy with a project for half a year or even a year, and they don’t have time to log into the forum. Once they have free time, they will probably return. Closing accounts so frequently will greatly reduce the popularity of the forum. It is also feasible to delete accounts that have not been used for 2–3 years or more; after all, the forum’s resources are limited, and it is best to use those limited resources for those who need them the most. Those who do not come to the forum for 2–3 years are likely to have little chance of returning, and even if they do, there are not many such people
I don’t think there’s any need for that. If you don’t go to the bank for half a year, the bank will close your account. Do you think that’s reasonable? ? :o
