The corrosion of the porcelain ring is mainly caused by the excessive fluorine content; if the porcelain ring is not a quality problem of the porcelain ring itself, it is usually caused by liquid flooding in the tower. The smooth edges of the porcelain ring fragments indicate that liquid flooding has indeed occurred in the tower. The smoke passes through the packing layer in the form of bubbles, which plays an abrasive effect on the fragments. When the bubbles break out of the packing layer, the porcelain ring moves toward the space where the bubbles pass, causing an impact. This is somewhat similar to cavitation in a centrifugal pump. The cause of liquid flooding is probably that the liquid level in the tower tank is too high. It is recommended to check the liquid level gauge (it may be malfunctioning! ) You can open an overflow port on the tower tank (which can be connected to the dry suction underground tank) to prevent the failure of the liquid level gauge from causing flooding of the tower. My views are completely different from those of the bosses above.: I think it is mainly caused by operational reasons. It may be that during normal production, the acid pump stopped due to malfunction, but the operator did not notice it, causing high-temperature flue gas to enter the tower, causing the temperature of the porcelain ring to rise. This period of time is relatively long. After the operator found that the acid pump stopped, he solved the fault and started the acid pump. When the acid was sprayed on the high-temperature porcelain ring, the porcelain ring was broken.
There is channel flow in the tower and there is excessive acid sludge locally. The resistance of the tower increases and the airflow short-circuits. Close to the tower wall, you can hear the sound of magnetic rings hitting each other inside the tower. A similar situation happened in our factory. During maintenance, take out the magnetic rings with a lot of acid mud and broken magnetic rings and refill them with clean magnetic rings to absorb the system and return it to normal.
Arsenic and fluorine exceeded the standard. This situation also happened in our factory. The acid cooler under the second absorption tower was also clogged. It is these small magnetic rings.
Acid spray from the sampling port indicates that the absorption tower is flooded and the porcelain ring is transported up and down by the air flow and broken. The reason is that the tower is clogged or the gas velocity is too high.
The pump stopped and there was a lot of smoke!

As you said, can the exhaust gas be turned on again if the exhaust gas is so big? Besides, no matter how high the gas temperature in the secondary suction tower is, it is only 160 degrees, which is unlikely to cause the porcelain ring to break.
