Personally, I think that sometimes a good topic doesn’t receive much recognition. I prefer to reply to questions, as this gives me a better chance of gaining rewards compared to posting. Or take software for example: it usually gets ratings at first, but over time fewer people rate it, while there are still many downloads and replies, which can be disheartening for those who post. I wonder if moderators could set an option that allows the original poster to benefit as well when others download their attachments? Simply put, it’s possible to set an option that allows one to earn money whenever others download something; do you all agree with this? I hope the moderators will consider this. Yes, considering giving extra points based on the number of downloads of a post is an option.
In fact, gaining recognition from others is a matter of accumulation; by looking at the responses and themes related to the 2007 HaiChuan Top 10 Contributors, one can understand what needs to be done. They were recognized by everyone because of their wide knowledge, selfless dedication, and unwavering enthusiasm for the forum, rather than just because they uploaded certain materials or answered a few questions. We don’t aim to make it into the top ten, but we come to Haichuan to acquire the knowledge we want, and when we see others in trouble, we help within our capabilities; at the same time, we improve ourselves as well. I think that’s enough. ------------------The above words may not be in line with the original intention of the poster; I simply wrote down my thoughts as they came to mind. As the New Year approaches, I would like to express my sincerest gratitude to those who have helped me on this forum, as well as to my friends! As for simply acquiring wealth, that’s another matter; there are indeed many good things available in HaiChuan, but one still has to spend money to get them. Therefore, I support the suggestions put forward by the original poster to increase wealth.
Ah, this post has sunk so quickly – it seems no one is interested in such issues? I don’t think so; it’s something that benefits everyone. It should encourage more communication among people and help enrich the content of the forum
You can learn about other forums that offer a certain percentage commission on download traffic. It would be more fair and reasonable to calculate the metrics based on traffic rather than the number of posts.
